At least 24 hrs. before your session, please complete one of the short (8-10 min.) client health forms.
If you have a cancer history, please complete this client health form.
Who should use this form? Complete this form if...

You are currently receiving, or are about to receive cancer treatment

You were treated for cancer in the past--weeks, months, or even years ago

This form includes a few specific questions about cancer treatment and any effects of treatment.
If you do not have a cancer history, please complete this client health form.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Before your appointment:

Read the COVID guidelines. If you haven't already, please review the COVID guidelines for our office here. They are more cautious than some.

Complete your Client Health Form (above) at least 24 hrs. before your 1st session.

Complete the COVID pre-screen in the 24 hours before your appointment. The link will be sent in your appointment reminder, 24 hrs. (by email) and 1 hr. (by text) before your appointment.
To reschedule or cancel your appointment:
Go back to the initial email confirmation of your appointment. Scroll down for the buttons to cancel, reschedule, and pay for your session. See the cancellation policy in your appointment confirmation and reminder. No need to login or create a password.
At the appointment:
Parking/Mass Transit.
At 259 Massachusetts Ave. in Arlington, parking is free on street, free in our back lot (enter lot from Harlow which is 1-way).
Buses 77 and 350 stop at Mass. Ave. and Harlow.
Arriving/Waiting area.
Our office is on the first floor, a few steps up from the street.
We will look for you in the first floor waiting area at your appointment time.
Timing. How long do you allow for your session?
For a first session, add about 30 min. to your hands-on time. We check in beforehand, We review the Client Health Form, and we plan out a session. Brief check-in before you leave.
Example: If you have scheduled a 60 min. massage, allow 90 min. start-to-finish. (For subsequent 60 min. appointments, about 80 min. start-to-finish.)
Undressing.
We leave the room while the client client undresses at the beginning and then they lie down on the table under the sheet. If the client wears underwear, they leave it on. Bra usually off, and the rest of clothing, too, so we can directly access the skin and muscles.
Draping.
Client is covered throughout session with the sheet as a drape, plus additional layers if necessary for warmth. We uncover the area while we work on it, then cover it up again to work somewhere else.
Lotion/oil.
We use a mixture of oil/lotion on the skin. All products from PurePro Massage.
Areas massaged and not.
A typical session includes:

Back, including low back and hips

Neck and shoulders
-
Back of thighs and lower legs

Feet
-
Maybe fronts of legs (quads and muscles of the shins)

Upper arms, forearms, wrists, and hands
-
Head/scalp (We can massage without lotion/oil if you need it to stay dry)

Forehead and temples upon request.

We do massage the upper pectoral muscles and attachments, but we do not massage lower on the breast or nipple area.

We do not typically massage the abdomen.
From the list above, you decide where you do and do not want massage therapy, plus where to focus the session.
At end of session.
We wipe off excess oil/lotion with a damp towel. Then we leave the room for the client to dress again.
Check-in.
We usually check in for just a couple of minutes after the session. It helps us to note what worked or didn't work for you.
Payment.
You can just click the “payment” button in your confirmation email and pay securely. You may store your credit card securely for future sessions if you like.
You may also pay by cash or check.
Fees.
I do not accept gratuities.
Full fees below.

$125 for a 60-min. massage

$155 for a 75-min. massage

$185 for a 90-min. massage.
